Tara B. Horvath

Tara B. Horvath is the Managing Shareholder of Faherty Law Firm where she provides statewide eminent domain services for Pennsylvania landowners. She was elected as the sole Pennsylvania Representative for Owners’ Counsel of America, a national association of the most experienced and skilled eminent domain and property rights attorneys across the country.  Building on her role as the sole Pennsylvania Representative, she was elected as a Board Director for the organization in 2025.

Her work in eminent domain began while a student at Moravian College and Theological Seminary.  She continued her eminent domain work as a law clerk while attending Widener University Commonwealth Law School. She graduated, cum laude, in 2012 and began a civil litigation law practice.

Since 2014, Ms. Horvath devoted all her practice and litigation work to representing Pennsylvania property owners in eminent domain cases. Her trial work has involved an array of eminent domain issues on the trial and appellate levels in state and in federal courts.

She is co-author of the LexisNexis Pennsylvania Eminent Domain Litigation – 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025.
